Made with love in Berlin

NixTier is made by the AI Design Thinking team in Berlin. We build apps we would be happy to see on a child’s phone ourselves.

Why NixTier?

“The educationally valuable app 😉” – we say it with a wink and still mean it. A pet that is happy when you have been outside, read a story or done some sums is, to us, a pretty good reason to pick up the phone.

And because screen time is a constant topic in many families, your child can earn bonus time by learning and moving – under rules you set. Less haggling at the dinner table, more dog.

What we stand for

No ads and no trackers – not in the app, not on this website.
No data about your child: pet, name, care and steps stay on the device.
Fair prices without pressure: the basic game is free, and only parents buy extras, here on the website. No in-game currency and no buy buttons for children.
All companions are there for all children.
The pet never gets ill, and nobody gets told off for skipping a day.

What the prices pay for

The extras and the subscription pay for looking after the app and the server: new content, updates, keeping things running. We do it out of love for the details – and so that the system can keep running.
