Dog, cat and friends in anime style. Reading, quiz and movement bring experience; with each level the companion transforms in three forms – visibly, for good and never for sale.
The second form arrives after about a week, the third after a few weeks of regular use
Levels and forms are never lost
The first time with a whirl of light and “Transformation!”
Hideout and avatar
Their own hideout and their own avatar
In the hideout your child furnishes a home for the companion with furniture and decorations. They design the avatar themselves – skin, hairstyle, clothes. Everything is earned by playing, nothing is bought.
Quests for steps, stories and quiz questions bring XP
Optional: missing a quest costs nothing
Reading
Three stories a day – read aloud if needed
Short stories in large print, followed by questions about the text. Your child chooses the difficulty.
Easy: the text stays visible · Medium: fold it out · Max: from memory
“Read aloud” with the device’s voice
You set the font size (80 to 160 %)
Quiz
The companion asks, your child answers
Ten quiz questions a day in rounds of five. Points come with the first correct answer – wrong tries before that cost nothing.
Badges stay for ever
Without a subscription from the stock; with “Fresh every day” new every day – plus an archive of the last 30 days
Playing
Six games with stars instead of stress
Every game comes in easy, medium and hard. Good rounds earn stars and personal records – there is no leaderboard at this age level.

For parents
You make the rules. The app sticks to them.
Everything important is in the parent area – behind a gate children can’t just click away: hold for two seconds, then solve a maths question for adults.
Bedtime
From–to in quarter hours. Then the pet sleeps too, and sounds get quieter beforehand.
Play time per day
15 to 90 minutes or no limit. You decide whether learning counts – otherwise learning carries on afterwards.
Bonus time they earn
Learning points and steps turn into minutes – you set how many (by default at most 60 a day, adjustable 15–180). You release the minutes yourself, e.g. in Google Family Link; the log shows the last 7 days. NixTier doesn’t block any other apps.
Weekly overview
Points per subject and steps per day, calculated on the device. If you like, compare anonymously with children of the same age – only with your yes.
Learning made to measure
Subjects on and off, font size 80–160 %, read aloud, difficulty one level easier or harder. Time pressure and combos can be switched off.
Movement
Daily step goal from 1,000 to 10,000. Counted only while the app is open, without location.
Friends and camera
Friends leaderboard (from 9) and camera (from 8) only with your permission. Your child accepts friend requests; you see the friends list and can remove friends. Switching it off deletes all of it.
Purchases only by you
Extras, codes, subscription status and cancelling – all in the parent area. Your child sees no prices and no buy buttons.
No account, no date of birth – just the age in years. No ads, no tracking.
